Notice of Charge Standard for Entrusting CRC to Affirm a New Chemical Substance

Since the Provisions on the Environmental Administration of New Chemical Substances (hereinafter cited as the ¡°Provisions¡±) was implemented on October 15, 2003, CRC has offered affirmation of a new chemical substance to clients. Up to now, many clients have obtained the affirmation of the new chemical substance through CRC, which avoid the wastes for the notifier to notify the existing chemical substances.

The affirmation of a new chemical substance is the payable service offered to clients by CRC. However, CRC hasn¡¯t started the charge procedure because the charge standard is not established.  CRC has arranged casual staffers to take on these work and paid the post money advanced for clients. In order to assure standardization of the affirmation of a new chemical substance, CRC decides to start the charge procedure on October 10, 2004. The valid date is October 15, 2003. All clients who have received the CRC¡¯s Acknowledgements of affirmation should pay the money in accordance with the following charge standard timely.

 

Charge standard:

1.       When the results of affirmation is ¡°the substance is a new chemical substance¡± or ¡°the substance is not a new chemical substance¡± , the client should pay 200 yuan RMB per substance.

2.       When the results of affirmation is ¡°can not be ascertained¡±, the client need not to pay any money.

 

Payment mode:

Remit the money to appointed A/C No. of bank. When the payment is received, CRC will send the invoice to the client in registered letter.

If the client has many substances to be affirmed during a short period, the total money can be paid to CRC one-off, but CRC should be told clearly during submitting the entrustment. The duration should not exceed 6 months.
